Public Mindfulness Workshops

Given my frequent travels to New York to teach, I am limiting my work in Bristol to mainly corporate work with some occasional public courses – see below

 

 

1. Mindfulness intensive for personal and professional use

Held near Blaise Castle, Bristol. Please use the contact form to express interest. Couples and groups of friends are encouraged to attend together, as well as small groups of people who want to use it in their work (past participants have included social workers, housing officers, counsellors, coaches, psychiatrists, doctors and teachers of yoga and Pilates)

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: £100 including notes, 14 MP3s, lunch and hot and cold drinks.

This popular 7-hour workshop is suitable for people who would like to follow a Mindfulness course to enhance their personal and professional lives but have limited time and want the benefit of learning the main Mindfulness practices. You will be prepared to work hard and at the end of the day you will be sent 14 MP3 recordings and the handout to enable you to keep on track.

Because of a ‘suitcase’ of tools, collected over many years of study (see my qualifications), I recognise how useful it is to use Mindfulness while practising other disciplines. This workshop therefore attracts a wide range of participants.There will be ample opportunity to discuss and plan for how to incorporate Mindfulness into your professional and personal life.After the day, I will be available by e mail to respond to any questions that may arise.

2.   3-hour Mindfulness session for beginners

Held near Blaise Castle, Bristol. The session lasts from 6.30 to 9.30 p.m.

Introduction to mindfulness and practical exercises including different forms of meditation. £40 inclusive of tea/coffee and cakes.  A relaxing and friendly session. Participants leave with a good foundation, able to immediately practise Mindfulness in their daily lives.
